It was a privilege to be in attendance a the recent Australia Day awards held at the Northern Beaches Council chambers. Many worthy recipients including Manly Salvation Army officer Louanne Mitchell who received an outstanding community award.
Palm Beach to Whale Beach swim

I was honoured to be invited to start the Palm Beach to Whale Beach Big Swim on Australia Day. What a great community event it is.
Suicide prevention

I am pictured here with Councillors (left to right) De Luca, Bingham, Heins and Ferguson at the launch of the Better Off With You campaign which was recently launched in Narrabeen. The campaign is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention initiative which I fully support and promote.
